 It is good news from the Nigerian Army headquarters as it announced that it has found some soldiers hitherto declared missing in an ambush by insurgents.

has announced that some soldiers earlier declared missing while fighting against Boko Haram insurgents in Borno state, north-eastern part of the country, have been found. Nigerian soldiers battling against insurgency 

The soldiers went missing in an ambush laid against them by the insurgents at Guro Gongon on July 20, 2016, according to the military.

Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman said the soldiers were found after concerted efforts were initiated to search for and rescue them.

“The measures include the use of air assets, special forces and patrols.

“We wish to inform you that the search party has this morning found five more officers and soldiers that were declared missing in action, including the unit’s commanding officer.
